How It Works: you, already owning a domain, have your ISP setup a dns
record for a sub domain, (like pages.yourdomain.com or
squad.yourdomain.com) making that domain name forward to an IP adress
on our server, where all the files will reside. Members of your
service can upload files, edit pages, and run scripts off of our
server, not costing you any bandwidth, space, or server load! This is
an excelent way to promote a high traffic site, such as a growing
portal, or even a buisness site! See, Free Homepages is like Free
Email Adress's, not only does it allow an excelent service for your
users, but it also does multitudes of free advertising! As your
members distribute their homepage adress to friends, family, buisness
partners, and even strangers! YOUR domain name is being circulated to
audiances you may of never thought of targeting! However, this great
service is not free for us, as we need to pay for the IP adress the
subdomain lives at, as well as bandwidth and storage space, we must
retain advertising rights on your members pages. (not to say we cant
have a header and you in the footer, or a banner rotation...)
Well, you pay us a small sum of money for setup, followed by a very small
one monthly, and we setup the "Free Homepage Service" described above,
only realy difference is that YOU can control your member pages and they
are free of any of our advertising! There is alot of money to be made in
